At Total Peripheral Supplies (TPS) we engage a number of professionals each whom are an essential part of our team. Each member of staff at TPS has special competencies and experience relevant to the area of work they are involved with.

Computer skills

We have several degree qualified IS/IT technicians/analysts on permanent staff all with CCNA qualifications, but specifically speaking TPS have staff are qualified to work with the following computer products;

Autodesk Autocad
Windows Server platforms
Load Data - The design assistant
Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project and all office products
Scientific Atlanta ROSA EM
CISCO IOS

Telecommunications skills

Many of our staff have extensively worked within the telecommunications industry with a design, testing/development, implementation, construction and installation focus. Specifically we have attained the following competencies;

Certificate III telecommunications
Working in confined spaces
Fibre optic splicing and fibre optic testing
Traffic management
Data networks, testing and design
Copper telephone services and key systems
DBOR entry and alteration
Pit & Pipe field accreditations
HFC CATV experience

Electrical Skills

TPS have many electricians of staff with experience working with AC power, supply and switching, DC distribution and diesel / battery installations. More specifically TPS electrical staff have the following competencies;

A grade electrical contractors licenses
Open Registered cabling license, all endorsements.
Working at heights, OHS training.
Rail power endorsements.

Cabling skills

Because custom cable assembly and installation is a large part of what we do, we have several industry experts on staff. Our cabling staff have a combined industry experience of over 20 years.

General business skills

Obviously general business skills are not a service marketed directly to our clients, but are still very relevant when working with TPS because our project management and coordination skills are very important to the successfulness of your project. Specifically TPS staff have the following competencies;
